Four Chiefs Selected to Pro Bowl

 

NFL Pro Bowl selections are announced and despite their first losing season since 2012, four Kansas City Chiefs were selected to the game.

 

On offense, TE Travis Kelce and OL Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith were selected and on defense Chris Jones was selcted. Kelce leads the team in targets, receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns and was selected to his 11th pro bowl. This honor ties him with Jason Witten as second all time for Pro Bowl selections behind Tony Gonzalez who had 14. This is the fourth straight year Humphrey has been selected for the Pro Bowl and it makes back to back years for Smith.

 

With two games left in the season Jones has four sacks and 12 tackles. This makes seven consective selctions for Jones. The Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, San Fransico 49ers and Seattle Seahawks led the NFL with six players chosen.
