In college football, Washington State defeated Utah State 34-12 last night in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
Washington State put up an impressive 628 yards of total offense to secure their first postseason victory since 2018. Quarterback Zevi Eckhaus was a key player, throwing for 334 yards and three touchdowns, earning game MVP honors.
Utah State attempted a comeback in the second half, with quarterback Bryson Barnes scoring a rushing touchdown, but the deficit proved too large to overcome. The game's attendance was 17,031.
Today's games include Toledo and Louisville in the Bush's Boca Raton Bowl, Western Kentucky and Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl, and UNLV and Ohio in the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl.
