Both Caney boys and girls basketball fell on Friday night to the Dewey Bulldoggers.
On the boys' side, the Bullpups got off to a slow start as Dewey lead early 10-2. Caney never really recovered as the offense struggled in the first half, putting up only 14 points. Dewey led at halftime 34-14.
Caney boys fall to 5-2 on the season.
On the girls' side, the Lady Bullpups fell for the first time this season as Dewey won the match-up 51-47.
Both teams will travel to Howard to take on the West Elk Patriots on January 6th.
