Coffeyville Field Kindley and Caney High School wrestlers put in solid performances at the Columbus Varsity Boys Duals on Saturday.

 

Field Kindley took down Independence 51-22 but fell to both Joplin and Bentonville. Senior Brennen Westervelt had a standout performance with four wins, two by pin at 157 pounds. Paxon LeBaron also went 4-0 at 285.

 

Caney defeated Miami 54-23, Nevada 42-38, Gravette 60-21, Independence 59-6 and lost to Columbus 51-18.

 

At 157 for Caney was Haiden Edens who went 5-0 on the day with four pins and one forfeit.
