The Caney Valley Bullpups sweep the Chetopa Hornets in first round action of the St. Paul Preseason Tournament Thursday afternoon. The girls won 91-4, while the boys won 104-25.

 

 Molleigh Kaminska led the Lady Pups with 21 points and Elyn Washurn added 10. The ladies improved to 3-0 on the season.

 

 In the guys game, Lowery Bruce came off the bench and led all scorers with 26 points. Traxcyn Garton added 18 points in a hot start at the beginning of the game. Layne Denny and Jacob McVey has 12 points apiece and James Kistler added 10, as the boys improved to 2-1 on the season.

 

 Both teams will be back in action tonight as they take on the host St. Paul Indians in 2nd round action. Pregame starts around 6:50; the girls game is at 7:00 with the guys game immediately following. Both games can be heard on U-S 98.
