The NCAA volleyball tournament has been annoucned, with 64 teams chasing a national championship, including both the Kansas Jayhawks and the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Wildcats are tournament-bound for the first time since 2021, after a 17-9 season, and finishing in a tie for sixth in the Big 12 conference. The team will face San Diego in the opening round, with the games taking place in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nebraska and Long Island are the other two teams in the region.
The Jayhawks received the final 4-seed in the tournament, hosting the first two rounds with Miami, Tulsa, and High Point also in the field. KU went 22-10 during the regular season, and are 7-2 in their home arena this season.
KU's opening round game will be Thursday night, while the Wildcats begin their tournament journey on Friday afternoon.
