Bartlesville High School continues their search for a new head football coach, following the resignation of former head coach Harry Wright after four seasons with the Bruins.

 

Bartlesville High Athletics and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck spoke on last week's Bruin Buzz program. He says the timing was right for the program and Coach Wright to part ways.

 

BHS is conducting a football coaching search for just the second time since 2019, as coaches Jason Sport and Wright served in the role over the past seven seasons.

 

Dilbeck says there will be a group of community members involved in the search. Wright went 16-30 during his time at Bartlesville, winning two playoff games, but posting just a 6-16 mark the past two seasons.
