KSU Football Clinches Bowl Game

The Kansas State Wildcats are bowl game bound, defeating Colorado 24-14 in the regular season finale to finish the regular season with a 6-6 record.

After a slow start, KSU was able to establish the ground game behind another strong performance from Joe Jackson, and the defense only allowed 14 points on the day.

Head Coach Chris Klieman says he's proud of the fight this team showed in the second half of the season.

A popular topic surrounding Wildcat football is the status of junior quarterback Avery Johnson, and whether he will return to Manhattan, or enter the transfer portal. Johnson says he hasn't made a decision yet, but loves being at KSU.

The Wildcats will know their bowl game opponent following the conference championship games this weekend.
