It's been a big week in the transfer portal for Kansas State football, landing a pair of stars from the junior college ranks, who have been helping the Hutchinson Blue Dragons chase a second straight national championship.
Wide receiver Derrick Salley Jr. is the top JUCO wide receiver in the nation, and the seventh best player overall, according to 24/7 Sports. In 10 games, he has 41 catches for 726 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He decommitted from Minnesota on Tuesday, and committed to the Wildcats later that same night. Salley is projected to be a starter for KSU as soon as he reaches campus this spring.
Additionally, safety MJ Graham of Hutchinson also flipped from Minnesota to Kansas State, reuniting with his current teammate. Graham is a two-year impact player for the Blue Dragons, and has 31 tackles, two pass breakups, and six interceptions this season. He is rated a three-star transfer, and the No. 4 ranked safety in JUCO.
