The Kansas Jayhawks wrapped up a successful week in Las Vegas, rallying to defeat the Tennessee Volunteers and finish third place in the Players Era Festival, with a 3-0 record.
Melvin Council led the team with 17 points in 38 minutes played, while the Jayhawks converted on 26 of 30 free throws as a team. Tre White had 14 points, and forward Flory Bidunga finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
The Jayhawks are 6-2 thus far this season, with losses to North Carolina and Duke, but wins over Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Tennessee.
KU will be back in action on Tuesday when they host the No. 5 UConn Huskies at Allen Fieldhouse.
