No. 3 Ravens Open KJCCC Play with Rival Butler

Jayhawk conference play kicks off tomorrow night for 12 of the 13 teams in the league, including the Red Ravens at home taking on the Butler Grizzlies.

Coffeyville is up five spots in the national rankings this week to No. 3, the highest they've been ranked since being No. 5 entering the National Tournament in 2021. Head Coach Jay Herkelman says it's an accomplishment, but it also puts a target on you.

The Ravens host a Butler team known for speed and high-powered offense, averaging 109 points per game so far this season. Herkelman says this is maybe the fastest team the Ravens will see all year.

Coverage of Coffeyville and Butler begins tomorrow night at 5 p.m. CT on US 98 and the Red Raven Sports Network.
