After an undefeated non-conference season, the Lady Ravens begin Jayhawk play with a ranked showdown against the rival Butler Grizzlies.

 

Both teams enter the matchup unbeaten and ranked, with Coffeyville No. 24 at 6-0, and Butler No. 14 at 5-0 on the season.

 

Butler has the most returners of any team in the conference, with six players back from last year's roster. CCC Head Coach Tony Turner says that experience makes them dangerous.

 

Coffeyville opens conference play with back-to-back home games, battling Butler before hosting Independence this weekend. Turner says it's a big advantage to open the conference slate at Nellis.
