Successful seasons in football and volleyball culminates in Tri-Valley League awards for members of the Caney Bullpup football and volleyball teams.
On the offensive side in football, five juniors received All-League honors, including lineman Angel Martinez, tight end Jacob McVey, wide receiver Drake Roberds, and running backs Traxcyn Garton and Jace Buckley. Junior quarterback Layne Denny and sophomore utility man Austin Freisberg received honorable mention.
Defensively, receiving All-League honors was sophomore defensive end Boone White, , linebacker Austin Freisberg and defensive back Jacob McVey. Lineman Angel Martinex and linebacker Jace Buckley received honorable mention.
In volleyball, seniors Emma Marshall and Grace Prince earned All-League 2nd Team honors, whike sophomore Ameris King-Dunn received honorable mention.
The Bullpup football team ended the season with a 9-2 record, including a trip to the sectional round of the 2A playoffs. The Caney volleyball team ended with a 21-18 record for the season.
