Ravens Rally to Beat Rivals in Finale

Coffeyville football wrapped up the 2025 regular season with a comeback win over rival Independence, winning on the road 28-20 on Saturday night.

It was a slow start for the Red Ravens, who found themselves down 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. CCC would take the lead in the second quarter, with Mac Armstrong touchdown passes to running back Charles Morgan and wide receiver Michael Kenon.

The Ravens would completely snatch momentum with a defensive touchdown from safety Tay Cline late in the second quarter.

Coffeyville would score one final touchdown in the third quarter, when wide receiver Khris Thomas made a remarkable one-handed catch for a 40-yard score.

CCC wraps up the regular season 7-3, with a 5-1 conference record, finishing outright in second place in the KJCCC. The Ravens will find out their postseason fate next weekend.
