Red Raven men's basketball handled business in a weekend showcase at Indian Hills Community College, winning both of their games to improve to 4-0 to start the season.
CCC began the weekend with No. 20 John A. Logan, who led the game by eight points late in the first half. The Ravens outscored the Volunteers 40-29 in the second half, to rally for a 77-69 win. Konstantin Popovic had 19 points, while Tyson Tucker finished with 16 points and six assists.
The success translated to Saturday, when the Ravens led the entire afternoon against Malcolm X College, winning 76-63. Jack Sorrell started in place of the injured Daniel Ntambwe, and finished with 15 points, while Rashid Kuta added 14 points for the Ravens.
Coffeyville is 4-0 to start the new season, and will host the NEO Norsemen on Saturday afternoon at Nellis Hall.
