The Lady Ravens look to continue their strong start to the season, playing in a pair of games this weekend while hosting the Beeson Classic.

 

Coffeyville, Butler, Southeast CC, and Connors State will participate in the two-day event, with each team playing two games on the weekend. CCC will play Southeast tonight, and Connors State tomorrow afternoon.

 

Sophomore Aubrey Hishaw is off to a terrific start, averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game, and shooting 67% from 3-point range. Head Coach Tony Turner says she's been developing her overall scoring ability.

 

The Lady Ravens open the weekend with a 1-3 Southeast team, who has already faced Hutchinson and State Fair to open the season. Turner says this team can attack you in multiple ways, and will be a tough challenge.
