For the 2nd time in three weeks, the Caney Valley Bullpups take on the Riverton Rams; this time it's at home, and it also includes an end-of-season game for one team.

 

 Caney defeated Riverton 48-7 in Week 8 action, with the running game being a big part of the offense.  For only the third time in the 40-year coaching career of Head Coach Criss Davis, two Bullpup running backs have rushed for over 1,000 yards each; namely Traxcyn Garton and Jace Buckley.

 

 Davis says quarterback Layne Denny is also crucial to the team because of his ability to audible to adjust to the opposing defense. He says his team can come away with a victory if his defense can repeat their performance from Week 8.

 

 Caney is 8-1 on the season with a 5-game winning streak coming into tonight's game. Riverton is 5-4, including a 26-0 victory last week over Cherryvale.
