Red Raven men's basketball survived a scare against Fort Scott, holding off the Greyhounds for an 81-75 win at Nellis Hall to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Ravens led the entire game, but the Greyhounds kept the deficit withing ten points for most of the evening. Assistant coach Jordan Bailey says this was good experience for the team's newcomers for what to expect in conference play.
Daniel Ntambwe was the best player on the court, finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds, including multiple key scores down the stretch for CCC. Bailey says Ntambwe continues to progress as a player in his sophomore year.
The Red Ravens travel to Indian Hill Community College this weekend, and will face John A. Logan on Friday night, and Malcolm X on Saturday.
