The Lady Ravens start the new season 2-0, after pulling away from Labette County in an 85-63 win at Nellis Hall.

 

Sophomore forward Aubrey Hishaw finished with a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds, while the Raven defense forced 27 Cardinal turnovers on the night.

 

Hishaw has converted four 3-point shots in season's first week. She says she made it a focal point to become a more well-rounded scorer.

 

Coffeyville forwards have dominated early this season, with Hishaw, as well as transfers Carly Dameron, Sh'Ryah Wright, and Brianna Gist. Hishaw says the frontcourt compliments each other well.

 

The Lady Ravens will host the Beeson Classic this weekend, battling Southeast Community College on Friday night, and Connors State on Saturday afternoon.
