Navarro Football to Forfeit Six Games for Violation

One of junior college's most recognizable football programs will be forfeiting games due to a violation of NJCAA rules.

The Navarro College football team has forfeited the first six games of the 2025 season due to a compliance issue, after consultation with the NJCAA National Office.

Navarro College Executive Director for Student Services and Athletics Michael Landers says "While this is a difficult way for our season to end, operating with integrity and adhering to NJCAA guidelines are fundamental to all our programs. Our coaching staff will now focus on helping our student-athletes transition to four-year programs and continue working with our returnees to build a strong foundation for the 2026 season."

The Bulldogs will not qualify for the SWJCFC playoffs and will conclude the season on Saturday afternoon when they host New Mexico Military.
