Red Raven women's basketball embarks on a new journey tonight, and will be led by a trio of returning starters, including sophomore guard Karliey Parker.

 

Parker appeared in 32 games in her freshman season, averaging 9.6 points per game and being named 2nd-Team All-KJCCC. The team went on a run to the Region championship game, before coming up short against Dodge City.

 

Parker says the returning sophomores have a fire to finish the job.

 

The Lady Ravens have one of the most experienced rosters in the conference, with eight different members of the team having college basketball experience. Parker says they are starting to gel as a group.

 

Karliey and the Lady Ravens tip off the new season tonight, with coverage beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT on US 98 and the Red Raven Sports Network.
