Red Raven basketball opens the season at Nellis Hall tomorrow night, and KGGF continues the player profile series with returning sophomore wing Daniel Ntambwe.
Ntambwe played in all 32 games for the Ravens in his freshman season, with 25 starts, and averaged 8.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, finishing as a Top 3 rebounder in the KJCCC.
Both Ntambwe and Rashid Kuta participated in the JA48 showcase this summer, which is one of the top junior college basketball events in the nation. Ntambwe says that was a great opportunity to test his skill.
The Red Ravens are viewed as conference title contenders once again this season, and open the year in the national rankings. Ntambwe says he is encouraged by the competitive nature of this year's roster.
Ntambwe scored a career-high 15 points in games against both Barton and Independence last season. Daniel and the Ravens open the season tomorrow night at Nellis Hall against Southwestern JV.
