Lady Raven basketball opens a new season tomorrow night, and KGGF continues the player profile series with sophomore returner Aubrey Hishaw.

 

Hishaw appeared in 27 games for the Ravens in her freshman season, averaging 8.1 points per game and making 23 starts on the season. She says she's been working on her maturity as she prepares for her sophomore season.

 

The Lady Ravens came up short in the Region VI championship game in March, losing to Dodge City and missing out on the National Tournament. Hishaw says the returners are motivated to finish the job this time.

 

Hishaw scored a career-high 16 points in a win over NEO last season, and posted 14 points in wins over Cowley, Seward County, Hutchinson, and Garden City. Aubrey and the Ravens open the season tomorrow night against Bethany JV.
