Lady Raven basketball tips off the regular season on Saturday, and KGGF continues the player profile series with sophomore transfer Bella Pehrson.

 

Pehrson is a 6-foot guard who transfers from Northwestern Oklahoma State, where she appeared in 14 games as a freshman. She says Coffeyville gave her a fresh start with some familiar faces.

 

The sophomore joins a roster that features a relatively experienced group, with many players either returners to Coffeyville or transfers with college basketball experience. Pehrson says the team's energy has stood out so far as well.

 

Pehrson will be among the top 3-point shooters on the team this season, and also plays strong defense at multiple positions. Bella and the Lady Ravens tip off the season on Saturday night at Nellis Hall.
