The Caney Valley Bullpups end the regular season tonight as they travel to Riverton to take on the Rams.

 

 A staple of the Pup offense is their running game, and Coach Criss Davis says this year's backs, Jace Buckley and Traxcyn Garton, have shown they have the tools needed to take care of business.

 

 Davis says having an extra coach on the field is an advantage, especially when that coach is junior quarterback Layne Denny.

 

Caney will be a #2 or #3 seed, depending on the outcome of the game tonight. The first round of the postseason will be in Caney, either next Thursday or Friday; opponent TBD.

 

 Riverton is 4-3 on the season, but 3-0 in the district. Caney is 6-1 on the season, and 3-0 in the district.
