South Coffeyville Lions football is peaking at the right time, winning three in a row to climb to 4-3 on the season.
The Lions are undefeated in district play so far this season, with wins over both Watts and Welch. Head Coach Rich Geisen says a big key to success is the offense finding a consistent groove.
South Coffeyville has played well on the defensive end as well, with three takeaways in last week's win over Cornerstone Christian. The team now returns home to face 4-3 Bluejacket, in a crucial district game.
Geisen says this matchup will be a great test for the program.
South Coffeyville and Bluejacket will play tonight at 7 p.m., with the game being moved up due to heavy rain and storms in tomorrow's forecast.
