The Caney Bullpups used big plays on both sides of the ball to race away from the Fredonia Yellow Jackets, winning 66-32 in Week 6.

 

The Bullpups had three defensive touchdowns on the night, scoring on a pick-six in the opening minute of the game, and returning two fumbles for touchdowns in the first half.

 

Running backs Traxyn Garton and Jace Buckley each scored long touchdowns on the ground, and quarterback Layne Denney had a pair of passing touchdowns as well.

 

Fredonia got a pair of touchdowns from both junior running back Kayson Farr and senior wide receiver Ethan Bryant.

 

The Bullpups are 5-1 on the season, and will host Galena on senior night next week. Fredonia falls to 0-6 and will travel to Riverton next week.
