Independence High School looks to bounce back after a tough loss to Chanute as they take on 4A powerhouse Eudora.
The Bulldogs got out to an early lead in the first half but a late pick six would put Chanute on top at the half. Head Coach Kendall Fiscus says that swung the momentum the other way heading into the break.
Indy now sits at 2-3 on the season as they travel to Eudora for their final road game of their four game road trip. Coach Fiscus says this is their furthest road trip of the season and there is no school that day.
Eudora is 4-1 and the one seed on the East side of the bracket. Indy currently sits are the 10 seed on the West side. After Eudora, the Bulldogs finish their schedule at home against Labette County and Rose Hill.
