It's been a productive week for Jayhawk basketball, as the team has landed four Top-50 recruits in the past eight days.
The first player to commit was five-star guard Taylen Kinney, who is the No.1 recruit in the state of Kentucky, and the No. 4 ranked point guard in the country in the class of 2026. Four-star wing Trent Perry would also commit to KU last week.
Joining them this week is Top-40 junior Javon Bardwell, who is the No. 4 player in the state of Arizona, and the No. 12 wing in the nation in the class of 2027. Finally, Top-50 senior Davion Adkins committed to the Jayhawks over the weekend, a 6-foot-9 forward from Dallas who is viewed as one of the top forwards in the class of 2026.
With the four recent commitments, the Jayhawks once again have one of the nation's top recruiting classes for both 2026 and 2027 coming to Lawrence.
