Fredonia football returns home this week, eager for the challenge of hosting the Tri-Valley League's first-place team in Caney Valley.
The Yellow Jackets came up short in a rivalry game with Neodesha last week, but have gotten back-to-back great games from senior wide receiver Ethan Bryant. Head Coach Marc Svaty says he brings a unique skill set to the offense.
Caney is 4-1 on the season, with the lone loss coming to Christ Prep Academy. Svaty says they are one of the most talented, and deepest teams in Southeast Kansas.
