Red Raven football enters the national Top-10 for the first time in 2025, and have a pair of players named conference players of the week.

 

Coffeyville jumps seven spots in the rankings to the No. 10 slot, with No. 1 Hutchinson, No. 8 Garden City, and No. 16 Butler also representing the KJCCC. Additional ranked teams on the CCC schedule are No. 2 Iowa Western, No. 14 Iowa Central, and No. 15 Cisco.

 

Additionally, Red Raven safety Bobby Deal was named KJCCC Defensive Player of the Week, after having six tackles, an interception, and two key punt returns in a 31-28 win over Butler. Punter Christian Burrus was named conference Special Teams Player of the Week, averaging 35 yards a punt on five kicks, and having two downed inside the 20-yard line.

 

CCC hosts Iowa Western on Saturday afternoon in a battle of Top 10 teams.
