Saturday in Lawrence ended in heartbreak for the Kansas Jayhawks, falling to the Cincinnati Bearcats 37-34 at David Booth Memorial Stadium.
Jalon Daniels was incredible for the Jayhawks, finishing with 500 yards of total offense and four touchdown passes. Wide receiver Emmanuel Henderson had 214 yards receiving and two touchdown catches in the loss.
After KU took the lead with 1:45 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Bearcats were able to drive 75 yards in 10 plays and score the game-winning touchdown with 29 seconds left.
KU falls to 3-2 on the season, and 1-1 in Big 12 play. The Jayhawks travel to Orlando this week to battle the UCF Knights on Saturday.
