Wildcats Win Conference Home Opener

It was a much-needed bounce back win for the Kansas State Wildcats, beating the UCF Knights at Bill Snyder Stadium 34-20 on Saturday afternoon.

Avery Johnson and Dylan Edwards combined for more than 400 yards of offense and three touchdowns in the win, which saw the team finish with 266 total rushing yards.

It was also a big day for the KSU defense, forcing two interceptions and a fumble against the UCF quarterbacks.

Former Goodland High School star and five-star prospect Linkon Cure caught his first collegiate pass in the game as well.

KSU is 2-3 on the season, and 1-1 in league play. They travel to Waco this week to battle the Baylor Bears on Saturday.
