Red Raven football will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest teams in program history this weekend.

 

The 1975 Red Raven football team will be honored during this weekend's game with Butler, where members of the team will receive tours of the newly renovated facilities, before being honored on the field at halftime of the game.

 

CCC Athletic Director Bryce Saia says this team accomplished as much as any Raven team in history.

 

Coffeyville is coming off a road win over Garden City, and look to win their second straight league game when rival Butler comes to town Saturday night. Saia says it's the perfect setting for a great weekend.

 

Residents of Montgomery County will receive free general admission tickets to Saturday night's game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. CT. Kids grades K-6 in area Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma schools will also receive free admission, as they do for every home game.
