The Erie Red Devils hit the road again this week, traveling to Allen County to take on the Humboldt Cubs.

 

Both programs are in search of their first win of the 2025 season, with Humboldt having losses to Caney Valley and Cherryvale, and the Red Devils having dropped games to Eureka and Caney Valley.

 

Both teams are filled with young players getting their first taste of varsity football, leading to each team having growing pains through the first two weeks. Erie Head Coach David Pitts says, however, that doesn't take away from the challenge the Cubs present.

 

Erie and Humboldt kick off at 7 p.m. CT on Friday night.
