After winning consecutive games in impressive fashion, Independence Community College football looks for their first ranked win of the season, traveling to battle #13 Butler this weekend.
Following a season-opening loss to Trinity Valley, the Pirates scored 51 points in a bounce back win over Ellsworth, posting 488 yards of total offense, with five passing touchdowns.
ICC took that momentum to Miami, where they beat the NEO Norsemen 21-11 in Week 3, prior to a bye week this past weekend. The defense stood out in the win over NEO, forcing three interceptions, three forced fumbles, and four total takeaways.
Butler has showcased a high-flying offense, scoring 14 touchdowns in their first two games played. The Grizzlies also have the conference's top-rated defense thus far this season.
