A pair of Chanute Blue Comet star athletes are the Taco John's Athletes of the Month for September.

 

Ella Guernsey is the female athlete of the month, starting the tennis season 8-0. Ella is a senior and has defeated numerous high-ranked opponents already this season.

 

The male athlete of the month is football player Gage Cummings, who helped the Blue Comets to a Week 1 victory over Augusta, with two interceptions in the contest. Gage is also a senior, and has been a crucial part of the Blue Comets' defense for the past two seasons.
