The Erie Red Devils return home this week, looking for their first victory of the 2025 season.

 

The team had stretches of strong play and physicality in the opener against Eureka, but big plays from the Tornadoes proved to be the difference.

 

The Red Devils now prepare for a talented Caney team, who shut out the Humboldt Cubs in a Week 1 victory. Erie Head Coach David Pitts says the Bullpups bring plenty of talent and skill.

 

Caney is one of the top teams in the Tri-Valley League in 2025, boasting a surplus of upperclassmen that results in one of the most experienced teams in the conference. Pitts says he's emphasizing effort in this week's matchup.
