South Coffeyville football is aiming to build momentum from an opening week victory, battling the Warriors of Claremore Christian this week.
The Lions picked up a 20-6 win over Graham-Dustin in the season opener two weeks ago, before having a bye week last week. Head Coach Rich Giesen says the team has been working hard to make improvements in practice.
Claremore Christian features a high-powered offense, scoring 50+ points in each of their two games thus far this season, and bringing premier speed and athleticism. Giesen says the defense will need to step up this week.
South Coffeyville and Claremore Christian will now play Thursday night in Foyil.
