Red Raven Volleyball hosted a tournament at Field Kindley High School over the weekend, and left the tournament with three wins.

 

CCC won both of their Friday matches against Southwestern JV and Southwestern Community College, both of which were in straight sets. The team continued with a four-set win over St. Louis CC on Saturday, before a five-set loss to Western Iowa Tech in the final game of the weekend.

 

Head Coach Kandi Midgett says it was a weekend the team needed in a big way.

 

After a 1-6 start to the season, the Lady Ravens have won five of their past nine matches, and will welcome Allen County to Nellis Hall tomorrow. Midgett says the last few weeks have prepared them for KJCCC play.
