Multiple KJCCC linebackers are highlighted as players to watch for the upcoming season, including a pair of Red Ravens.

 

Four outside linebackers from the conference were recognized, with Dodge City's Anthony Mattison, Garden City's Jer'Quise Clayton, and Butler's Jaylen Lawrence among them. Additionally, Iowa Central transfer and new Red Raven Tavares Elston Jr was named to the list, after having 37 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss for the Tritons last season.

 

Four inside linebackers also make the list from the league, with Hutchinson's Tyler Lassiter, who had 61 tackles last season at Garden City, headlining the group. Additionally, Dodge City's Loden West and Garden City's Karson Butts are among the conference's top middle linebackers entering the season.

 

CCC also has an inside linebacker recognized, in redshirt sophomore Eric Butler. Butler spent a season at Hutchinson before being a key piece on special teams last season, and is expected to be a part of the linebacker rotation this fall.
