Bartlesville Football Welcoming New Coaches to Staff

Bartlesville High School football is just around the corner, like the rest of area schools, and the Bruins will have a few new faces on the sidelines this fall.

Bartlesville will have numerous new coaches on the staff, after having rare stabliity at assistant coach the past several seasons. Head Coach Harry Wright says two new coaches will be on the offensive side of the ball.

Joice has spent 17 seasons coaching high school football, and is a Skiatook native. Winfrey was most recently at the college ranks, coaching at St. Francis in Illinois.

Wright says although it's good to have consistency, there is a positive to having new faces in the locker room.

The Bruins had their annual Night of Champions at Custer Stadium this past Friday, and open the season on the road against Newcastle on August 29th.
