The Kansas City Royals look to carry momentum from an impressive series win over the Chicago Cubs, hosting the Cleveland Guardians for a weekend set at Kauffman Stadium.

 

Kansas City is 50-53 on the season, sitting in third place in the AL Central division, and 4.5 games out of a playoff spot. Cleveland enters the weekend in second place in the division, and three games out of a playoff spot.

 

Despite using former All-Star Seth Lugo in the series finale with Chicago, KC still has three strong pitchers scheduled to start this weekend in Michael Wacha, Kris Bubic, and Noah Cameron.
