With approximately five weeks until the start of the football regular season in Oklahoma, the Nowata Ironmen are continuing to make strides this summer.

 

The major storyline in Ironmen camp this summer is experience, with the program looking to fill spots left by a large senior class after their first playoff appearance in five years.

 

Head Coach Chance Juby says they have changed the coaching approach a bit with a younger roster.

 

Nowata opens the season against Pawhuska for the second consecutive season, with the opponents identical to a year ago. Juby says his guys are eager to kick the ball off.

 

The Ironmen will have a scrimmage on August 22nd at Ketchum, before opening with Pawhuska on August 29th.
