A pair of KJCCC tight ends have been named players to watch in the preseason watch list released by JCGridiron.
Noah Bruce of Butler only posted 63 yards in his redshirt freshman season on six catches, but brings impressive size at 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds. He is a trusted run blocker to help running back Markellus Bass, and will be one of the top weapons for the Grizzlies this season under interim coach Kyle Woodall.
Enese Tonga of Garden City also makes the list, standing 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds. Tonga is from Kahuku, Hawaii, and is one of the team's top blockers, as well as having premier speed and strength for the position.
For the Red Ravens, Highland transfer Ryley Zalusky is the early top contender to start in a young tight end room. Other players to watch are Caige Bratcher of Pensacola Catholic High School, and Kansas native Kaleb Moore of Gardner-Edgerton.
