High school football season continues to creep closer in Southeast Kansas, and another area team's path to the playoffs is known, with the schedule release of the Neodesha Blue Streaks.

 

The Blue Streaks open with a pair of home games, welcoming Cherryvale to town on September 5th, and hosting Bluestem the following week on September 12th.

 

Road games to Caney Valley and Columbus follow to wrap the season's first half. Week Five features a high-profile matchup with rival Fredonia on October 3rd.

 

Neodesha ends the season with two road games against Parsons and Baxter Springs, before ending the regular season on October 24th with senior night against Frontenac. The Blue Streaks went 3-6 last season in their first year in 3A, and are led by third-year head coach Nathan West.
