Both Kansas and Kansas State baseball have qualified for the NCAA tournament, and now know their path to make it out of the Regional round.
The Jayhawks finished the regular season 43-15, with a 20-10 conference record. They will be the No. 2 seed in the Fayetteville Regional, hosted by the nation's No. 3 team in Arkansas, along with Creighton and North Dakota State.
KSU finished the regular season 31-24 with a 17-13 league mark, and will be the No. 3 seed in the Austin Regional. The nation's No. 2 team, Texas, hosts the regional, with Houston Christian and the University of Texas at San Antonio also a part.
KU will open with Creighton on Friday night at 7 p.m., while the Wildcats open with UTSA on Friday night at 6.
