Chiefs Superfan Receives More than 30 Years in Prison

 

A Kansas City Chiefs superfan will be spending more than 30 years behind bars after a recent sentencing.

 

Xaviar Babudar, also known as ChiefsAholic, wsa sentenced to 32 years in prison in an Oklahoma courtroom yesterday, more than two years after authorities caught him in the state fleeing from a local bank robbery.

 

Babudar is already serving a 17.5 year federal sentence for robbing banks in seven states between 2022 and 2023. The Tulsa County district attorney's office were looking to add more time to the sentence, and the additional 14.5 years will be served concurrent in an Oklahoma penitentiary after the federal term ends.

 

In March, Babudar pleaded guilty to robbery with a firearm, assault while masked or disguised, and removing an electronic monitoring device in connection with a December 16, 2022 armed robbery of the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union.

 

Prior to the arrest, Babudar was a popular figure in Chiefs Kingdom, dressing in a gray wolf suit and participating in pregame festivities and taking pictures with fans.
