An Independence High School golfer is the Southeast Kansas League champion for the second consecutive year.
Ethan Small claimed the individual title in back-to-back seasons, after posting a 74 over the weekend and winning the tournament by two strokes. The Bulldog golf team also won the team championship by nine strokes, with a final score of 323.
Pittsburg placed second in the team rankings, with Fort Scott third, Chanute fourth, and Labette County fifth.
MJ Lowe of Pittsburg came second in the individual standings, with Reece Roberts of Fort Scott third, Cam Mavers of Independence fourth, and Tanner White of Independence fifth.
