A former Coffeyville Community College football star is heading to the NFL, after being selected by the Chicago Bears.

 

Defensive back Zah Frazier was the fifth-round pick of Chicago on the final day of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday. Frazier spent two seasons with the Red Ravens, in the spring and fall of the COVID year, and spent the following three seasons with the Texas San Antonio Roadrunners.

 

Frazier says he has been through a lot, but it's prepared him for the moment.

 

Frazier was a star while at Coffeyville, finishing with 48 total tackles, three interceptions, and a forced fumble. He says the JUCO experience is one that builds character.

 

The former Red Raven will now battle for a roster spot, joining a Chicago secondary that ranked fourth in the NFL last season.
